You can find Sanat Zaveri Co. on the first floor of the Super Market building on Ashram Road. We are right in the middle of Navrangpura, which is a busy and loud spot to be. Our family has been involved in this trade for a long time. Being up on the first floor away from the main street noise helps us focus on the work at hand. We handle jewelry and traditional pieces, though we don't make a big show of it. Our space is functional and simple. We have some counters for customers and a back area where we take care of the finer details and repairs. It’s a bit cramped sometimes when we have a few people in at once, but we make it work. We don't have a big corporate structure or fancy software here. It’s mostly just us and a few helpers who have been around for years. People come to us because they know where we are and they know we won't give them a hard time or try to oversell them. We talk to our customers like neighbors because many of them actually are. Ashram Road is always changing, with new shops opening and others closing, but we’ve managed to stay put. We don't really go for all the modern advertising stuff you see online. Word of mouth is usually how people find their way to our door. It’s a quiet, steady kind of business. We just try to be fair and keep our workspace organized.
