Rikin Industries

Our shop is at Plot No. 428, Phase-2, GIDC. It’s right next to some other busy factories. We’ve been here for a good number of years. It’s a family-run kind of feel, even if not everyone is related. We keep the machines running most of the day. There’s usually a pile of scrap or finished goods near the door. We don’t have a fancy showroom. If you want to see what we do, you have to come onto the shop floor and see the work in progress. The light inside isn’t the best, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and customers. It’s a lot of coordination. Some days are stressful when a machine breaks down or a shipment is late, but we manage. The staff is quite steady, we don't have people leaving all the time. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do a decent job and keep the lights on. The area around us is always busy with workers and tempos. We usually have lunch together in the small break area. It’s nothing special, just a place to sit for twenty minutes. We’ve got a rhythm to how we work. We’ve learned over time that there’s no shortcut to getting things right, so we just take our time with each order at Rikin Industries.
