Rameshwar Engineering

Rameshwar Engineering is based at Plot No. 2906 inside the GIDC. It’s a big industrial plot and we have been here for a while now. The whole area is nothing but workshops and factories, so it feels right for what we do. We do general engineering work, which basically means we spend our time with lathes, drills, and welding gear. It’s a noisy place to work, and the floor is usually covered in metal scraps by the end of the day. We aren't much for sitting in offices; most of us prefer being out where the machines are. Our team is small, mostly local people who have been doing this kind of work since they were young. We don’t have a website or any of that fancy stuff; people usually find us because they saw our sign or someone told them we could handle a specific job. There are days when the power goes out or a machine acts up, and we just have to figure it out as we go. It’s a practical, hands-on life. We don’t talk about missions or visions; we just talk about what needs to be welded or machined before the day is over. Sometimes we stay late to finish a big project, and other days we close up early if things are quiet. It’s just a normal engineering shop trying to do a decent job for the folks in the GIDC and surrounding areas every week without any fuss.
