Padmavati Traders

Padmavati Traders is right at 16 Karnavati Estate 2. It’s easy enough to find because we are directly opposite the Ramol Police Chowki. This is the Phase 4 Gidc area of Vatva, which stays pretty crowded during the daylight hours. The estate has a lot of people coming and going. We have been trading from here for a while now. The office is just a simple room with some plastic chairs and a wooden table where we handle the books and the billing. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the stock in the back room. Being opposite the Ramol Police Chowki means there is always a bit of activity and police vehicles outside our door. Vatva is a heavy industrial area, so the air is often thick and the roads are usually full of potholes and big trucks. We don't have a mission statement or any of those corporate things. We just buy what we need to buy and sell what we need to sell to keep things going. It’s basic trading. Some days are slow and we just sit around talking about the weather or the local cricket scores. Other days, everyone is rushing to get things loaded onto the trucks. We’ve got a small crew and we all know how the work goes. It’s not a fancy life, but it belongs to us. If you come looking for 16 Karnavati Estate 2, just look for the chowki.
