Our place is located over at Plot No. 379 and 380, right in the middle of Phase-2 in GIDC. We also use the sections at 381/a and 381/b because one plot just wasn't enough for everything we need to store and move around. It's a typical industrial setup. There is always a lot of dust in the air because of the construction nearby, and the roads inside the GIDC aren't always great after the monsoon rains. We spend a lot of time just keeping the equipment running and making sure the floor stays clear enough for people to walk through safely. It’s not a quiet job. The guys stay busy with their hands, and there isn't much time for sitting around. When people ask where we are, we just tell them to look for the big gates near the corner of Phase-2. It’s easier to find us that way than looking for a sign. We’ve had the same neighbors for years, so we all kind of know each other’s schedules. Sometimes we share tools or help out if a truck gets stuck. It’s a simple way of working. No one here wears a suit, and the office is mostly just for filing invoices and keeping the phone from ringing too long. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get home on time when the shift ends. It isn't anything special, just where we work every day to get things done.
