At Jet Fibre Pumps Equipments, we spend most of our time dealing with mechanical stuff. We are located at Plot No. 1225 in GIDC Phase-3. It’s a large plot, which is good because some of the pump equipment we handle takes up a lot of room. The workshop is always humming with the sound of tools. We have a few technicians who know these machines inside and out. They’ve been working on pumps for years. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find people in suits. We’re usually in overalls or work clothes, often with grease on our hands. The GIDC Phase-3 area is pretty industrial, so there’s always trucks coming and going. We get our supplies from the city and then spend the week putting everything together or fixing what’s broken. It gets quite hot in the warehouse during the middle of the day, so we take our breaks under the fan in the small office area. We don’t have a website or anything like that. Most people just know our name or find us through the industrial directory. We just focus on getting the pumps ready for whoever bought them. It’s straightforward work. We show up, do the repairs or the assembly, and make sure everything is packed right. It’s a decent way to make a living and we’ve been at this plot for a while now.
