Fluid Pack

Our spot is at Plot: I-4116, Phase-Iv, Gidc Vatva. If you know Vatva, you know it’s a massive place full of factories and workshops. Fluid Pack is located in Phase Iv, which is usually thick with the smell of grease and metal. We work with packaging stuff, mostly focused on the machines and the parts that make them go. The workshop floor is always a bit oily, no matter how much we sweep it. We have heavy tools laying around on the benches. It’s not a place where you’d want to wear nice clothes because they’d get ruined in ten minutes. We spend the day fitting parts together and testing how things move. It can get pretty loud when several machines are running at once. Sometimes we have to shout to be heard over the clanking. The Gidc area doesn't have much shade, so it gets really hot in the afternoons inside the shed. We usually take a break around then and sit near the fan. It’s a practical kind of job. We don’t do much talking about big ideas; we just look at the metal and the fluid systems and try to get them right. The gate at I-4116 stays open for deliveries. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It’s just how things are in this part of town.
