Our workshop is at Plot No. C-1-272/2 in Phase-2 of the Gidc. If you walk inside, you'll see a lot of ink and different materials lying around. Printing and dyeing is a bit of a tricky process because you have to get the timing right. We spend a lot of time watching the machines to make sure nothing gets stuck. It’s not a quiet place by any means. There is a constant humming sound from the equipment that you eventually stop noticing after a few hours. We’ve got a small office but most of the time we are out on the floor with the rest of the staff. It’s better to be where the work is happening. The floor is stained with different colors from over the years. We try to keep things tidy but when you're busy, things tend to get a bit messy. The Gidc area is always humming with activity, which keeps us on our toes. We have a regular routine that starts early in the morning. We check the chemicals and set up the prints before the sun gets too high. Lunch is brought from home and we eat it in the small break area near the back. We don't really have any big slogans or anything. We just take the jobs, do the printing, and make sure they're ready for pickup when we said they would be.
