Chitra Insultec Pvt. Ltd. is located right at Plot No. 3703/d in the Phase 4 section of GIDC. It’s a practical space where we handle all our daily operations. The building isn’t new but it works for what we need to do. Most mornings start with checking the inventory and seeing what needs to be moved out. We deal with insulation materials so things can get a bit messy on the floor if we aren't careful. It’s just how it goes in this line of work. The neighborhood is mostly other industrial units so there is always the sound of hammers or machines in the background. We have a small desk near the front where we keep the paperwork. It’s usually covered in notes and delivery slips. Our staff stays busy moving stuff around the warehouse and loading it onto the small tempos that come by. Vatva is a hot place in the summer and the shed gets quite warm but we have some fans going. We don’t spend much time on decorations or making things look pretty because the work is what matters. If you come by you will probably see a few of us drinking tea outside the gate during the break. We like the local tea stall nearby. It’s a simple setup we have here. We just try to make sure everything is packed correctly and nothing gets damaged during the storage. It's honest work and it keeps us all going day after day.
