We’ve been set up at Plot No. 2211 in Phase-4 of the Gidc area for quite some time now. It’s a busy spot but we like it here. My brother and I started this place because we knew a lot about metal and machines from our younger days. Mostly we just handle engineering work that comes our way from other shops nearby. We have a few lathes and some old equipment that still runs perfectly fine if you treat it right. Sometimes the floor gets a bit messy with oil and metal shavings, but that’s just how it is when you’re actually working. We don't have a fancy front office or anything like that. People usually just walk into the shop and find us near the back. It can get loud when the machines are all running at once. If you're looking for us, look for the big blue door. We try to get things done on time, though sometimes parts take a while to arrive from suppliers. It’s just a small team of us here. We know the neighbors pretty well and sometimes share tools when someone is in a pinch. We’ve seen the Gidc change over the years. Some businesses leave and new ones come in, but we’re still right here. It’s hard work, and your hands stay dirty most of the day, but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep our heads down and focus on whatever is on the bench that morning.
