Ankur Dyestuff Industries is located at Plot No. 39 in Gidc Phase-2. It’s a straightforward setup. We’ve been handling dyes for quite some time now. The floors are usually stained with different colors, which is pretty much expected in our line of work. It’s not a clean office job. We wear old clothes because something always splashes when we are mixing things. Phase-2 is a bit quieter than Phase-1, but not by much during the peak hours. We have our routine. The morning starts with checking the drums and seeing what needs to be moved out to the loading area. It's physical work. We don't have a big corporate structure here. It’s just the owner and a handful of workers who know the process by heart. Sometimes the smell of the chemicals is strong, so we keep the big doors wide open for air. We get our supplies from nearby and send out the finished stuff to local textile units. It’s a small link in a big chain. People around here know us as the place on Plot 39. We don't spend money on fancy signs. The one we have is a bit faded from the sun and rain. If you come by, you’ll probably find us busy with the mixing tanks. We don’t have time for much talk during the day. It’s about getting the batches right every time. Sometimes things go wrong and we have to start over, but that's just part of the business.
