Ankur Dye Stuff Industries is located over at Plot No. 39 in Phase-II of the Gidc in Vatva. If you’ve ever been to Vatva, you know it’s a major hub for this kind of work. Our unit is tucked away in Phase-II, and it’s a busy spot. Working with dyes means things can get pretty colorful, and not always in a good way. Most of our clothes have some kind of stain on them by the end of the week. The smell of the chemicals is something you just get used to after a couple of days. We have big vats and mixing equipment taking up most of the floor space. The office part is just a small corner with a couple of chairs and a phone that rings more than it should. We don't have any polished brochures or a fancy lobby to welcome people. Usually, someone is just running around with a clipboard. The heat in the Gidc during the summer is no joke, so we try to get the heavy work done early in the morning. We’ve been at Plot 39 for years now. People in Vatva know us as a steady place. We don't make a big deal out of things. We just mix the batches, check the colors, and get the orders out to where they need to go.
