Our business is located at Plot No. C-8 and 9 in the Bharat Small Industrial Estate. We are tucked away right behind the Gujarat Offset building. We go by two names, Al-Eainab Foods Pvt. Ltd. and J K Angur Foods Pvt. Ltd., but it’s really just one group of us working here. We handle food processing and packaging. The estate is a busy place with lots of small factories, so there is always the sound of engines and people working. Our warehouse is where most of the work happens. We have to keep it clean because we are dealing with food, which is a lot of work given how much dust is in the air outside. We spend our time checking quality and making sure the packaging machines are running right. Some days the heat in the industrial shed is almost unbearable, but we have some big fans to help. We don't have a fancy office; it’s just a small space with a couple of desks and a lot of filing cabinets. We deal with various suppliers and it’s a constant job to coordinate the arrivals and departures of the goods. It’s a lot of physical labor, moving crates and boxes around. We’ve been here for a long time and have a steady routine. It isn't glamorous work, but it’s a solid business and we just focus on getting our products out to the market on time.
