Signor Exports

Our office is B/52 in Goyal Park, right across from the Lad Society in Vastrapur. It’s a pretty good location because Vastrapur is a central part of Ahmedabad, but Goyal Park itself is a bit more relaxed than the main roads. We’ve set up our export business here in this unit. It’s nothing fancy, just some desks, chairs, and the usual office equipment. We spend most of our time coordinating with suppliers and shipping companies. It’s a lot of phone calls and sitting at the computer, making sure all the export forms are filled out just right. Sometimes we go for a walk around the park when we need a break from the screens. We are a small group of people, and we’ve been working together for a while now. We don't use any corporate jargon or make big promises. We just tell people the truth about when their shipments will be ready and what the costs are going to be. It’s a simple way of working, and it seems to suit us just fine. Some days are stressful when there’s a problem at the port, but we just work through it. We aren't trying to be the biggest exporters in the city, just reliable ones who show up and do the work every day. It is just a normal routine for us here.
