Vasant Overseas Pvt Ltd. is situated in Ahmedabad, over at Gokul Nagar, Nava Vanzar, near the Sarkhej area. Our work is mainly focused on overseas trade, which involves a lot of import and export coordination. We aren't located in one of those tall glass buildings in the city center; we are in a more practical part of Ahmedabad E. The office is a simple place where we manage all the shipping documents and customs paperwork. It’s a lot of back-and-forth with different agencies and shipping lines. Sarkhej is a busy hub, so there is always a lot of traffic and activity around us. We have a small team here that handles the daily tasks of tracking containers and talking to suppliers. It’s not very exciting work, but it’s what we do every day. We don't have a showroom or anything to show off, because we deal mostly with bulk goods and international shipments. Sometimes the rules for shipping change and we have to spend the whole day figuring out the new forms. We just take things as they come and try to keep our clients' goods moving across the water. We’ve been in Gokul Nagar for a while and we are comfortable with our setup here. It’s a plain and simple business that keeps us very busy from Monday through Saturday. We just focus on the logistics of overseas trade.
