V. B. Jewellers

We have our shop, V. B. Jewellers, over at 3, Rajhuns Park. It’s part of the Rajhuns Society right on St. Xavers College Road in Ellisbridge. Being near the college means there are always students and people walking by our window. It’s a nice spot. We have been here for quite some time now. The shop isn’t huge, but we have enough space for the counters and the safe in the back. We spend most of our mornings cleaning the glass and setting things out for the day. It’s a lot of routine. Sometimes the traffic on St. Xavers College Road gets backed up, especially when classes let out, but we don’t mind the noise much anymore. Ellisbridge is a good area to be in. We know most of the other shop owners around Rajhuns Society. We don’t really do big sales pitches or fancy commercials. Usually, people just come in because they need a gift or something repaired and they know we are here. We sit here, have our tea, and wait for the regulars to stop by for a chat. Our sign is simple and we try to keep the place tidy, though the back room is usually full of empty boxes and packing tape. It’s just a local business trying to do things the right way. We don't have a big corporate office, just this one place in Ellisbridge where we show up every morning. We like it this way.
