Our place is in the Paldi area of Ahmedabad, specifically at O/102 in the Chandan Bala building. We are right opposite the Suvidha Shopping Center, so there is always a lot of foot traffic and noise from the market. It’s a busy part of town to be in. We handle export and import stuff from this office. It’s not a huge space, but we have enough room for our files and a couple of computers. We spend a lot of time tracking shipments and making sure all the customs documents are in order. Sometimes we have to run out to meet someone or pick up some papers from the courier. The shopping center across the street is handy for when we need to grab a quick snack or some supplies. We have been in this spot for a bit now and we like being in the middle of everything. It can be hard to find parking around here, but that’s Ahmedabad for you. Inside the office, things are usually a bit quieter, though the phones ring quite a bit. We just take things one day at a time, making sure the cargo moves and the clients are told what’s happening. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s important to get the details right. We finish up in the evening when the market starts getting even busier.
