Unnat Medical

You can find Unnat Medical right under the Pratiksha Apartment building in Ghatlodia. We are at shop M-196/2342, which sounds like a complicated address but once you’re in the area, it’s easy to spot us. Being part of an apartment complex means we see the same faces every day. People come down in their slippers just to grab some vitamins or something for a headache. It’s a small shop, so we have to use every bit of wall space for the medicine boxes. I spend a lot of time rearranging things to make sure nothing gets lost behind the counter. The afternoon sun hits the front window pretty hard, so it gets a little warm inside during the summer months. Ghatlodia is a nice place to work because everyone knows everyone else. We hear all the local news while we are counting out pills or typing up a bill. Sometimes the kids from the building run past the door and make a lot of noise, but it adds some life to the day. We aren't doing anything special, just making sure the residents here have a place nearby to get their health supplies. It gets quiet in the mid-afternoon when everyone is napping, so that’s when I catch up on the cleaning or check the inventory lists. It’s just a regular local chemist life for us here in this little corner of the block. We enjoy the quiet moments just as much as the busy ones.
