United Exports

You can find United Exports over in the Ramkumar Mills Compound in Saraspur. It’s an old industrial area, so it’s got that classic warehouse feel to it. Working out of a mill compound means there is always something moving around outside. We’ve been here for a good amount of time. The office is simple. We have our computers, some old chairs, and stacks of shipping manifests. We deal with various export items, mostly helping local businesses get their products out to other markets. It’s a lot of coordinating with truck drivers and checking schedules. Saraspur is a hardworking part of the city, and we feel like we fit right in. We don’t spend much on decor or branding because that’s not what our clients care about. They just want to know their stuff is moving. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep going. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out and get back to it. It’s a bit dusty because of the old buildings around us, but it’s home. We know the other folks in the compound too. We help each other out if someone needs a hand moving something heavy or just wants to borrow a stapler. It’s a straightforward business, no frills or extras. We just show up and do what needs doing. The Ramkumar Mills Compound has a lot of history, and you can see it in the bricks.
