We have been over here at Plot No. 5 - 6 in the Kala Estate for a long time now. It is right near the Narol Cross Road. Most people know the area because of the heavy traffic, but we just focus on the tires. Retreading is what we do every day. It is dirty work, but somebody has to make sure those old tires can get back on the road safely. We do not have a big fancy office or anything like that. It is just a workshop where we handle the rubber and the machinery. Sometimes the machines act up or the heat gets a bit much in the summer, but we keep going. Our guys have been doing this for years, so they know the smell of burning rubber better than anything else. We see all kinds of tires coming through, from small ones to the big truck ones that take two people just to move them. People around Narol stop by when they need a fix or just want to see if their tires have any life left in them. We do not try to sell you stuff you do not need. If the tire is done, we tell you. If it can be saved, we get to work. It is just how things go around here. Nothing fancy, just honest work with our hands. We stay busy enough and try to keep the shop organized, even if it gets messy fast.
