Unifab Textile Mills Private Limited

We are located at No. 15 in the Bank of Baroda Building, which is right near the Maskati Market area in Sakar Bazar. Kalupur is a very old and busy part of the city, and our office reflects that. We are on one of the floors of this big commercial building, so we spend a lot of time waiting for the lift or walking up the stairs when it’s stuck. Our work is all about textiles, and we deal with the mill side of things. There are samples of fabric everywhere, and the desks are usually covered in ledger books and order forms. It’s a very traditional way of doing business here. We spend our hours talking to dealers from Sakar Bazar and coordinating with the production side of the mills. The building itself has seen better days, but it is right in the heart of the textile trade, which is where we need to be. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. People just walk in, sit down on whatever chair is free, and we talk about the latest cloth prices or delivery schedules. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls, and things can get a bit hectic when a big shipment is due. We just try to keep the business running smoothly from this little corner of Kalupur.
