Umiya Laminates

If you head over to Shahibaug, you’ll find us at Umiya Laminates. We are located at 24 Maheshwari Industrial Estate. It’s right across from the Swaminarayan Temple, which is a big local landmark. Most people use the temple to find their way to us because the industrial estate can be a bit tucked away. We deal with laminates all day long. The warehouse is usually full of different sheets and samples. It gets a bit crowded when a new shipment comes in, but we manage to keep it moving. We’ve been at this Maheshwari location for a good while. It’s an older estate, so it has a lot of character, and we know most of the other business owners around here. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. It’s mostly just us answering the phones and showing people the different patterns we have in stock. Shahibaug is a busy area, but our little corner in the industrial estate feels a bit different. You hear the temple bells sometimes during the day, which is a nice break from the sound of the forklifts. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. We just supply laminates to the people who need them for their homes or shops. It’s honest work and we’re glad to be doing it here. We just try to be helpful to anyone who walks in the door.
