Umagog Design Street

Our office is over at 302 Rituraj Chambers, which is part of the Swastik Society on C G Road here in Ahmedabad. It is a pretty busy area and being just off C G Road means there is always something going on outside our windows. We have been in this spot for a while now and most of our days are spent sitting at our desks working through various design drawings. The office is on the third floor and the lift is a bit slow sometimes, so we often just take the stairs if we are in a hurry. It’s not a very big space, but it fits our small team just fine. We have rows of computers and a few tables piled high with rolls of paper and various sketches. It can get a little messy when we are in the middle of a big project, but we usually know where everything is. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with fancy meetings. Mostly, we just sit together and figure out how to solve whatever problem is in front of us. Sometimes we go downstairs to the local stalls for tea when we need a break from the screens. It’s a regular workplace where we just try to get the work done without much fuss. We are usually here from early morning until the sun goes down, just keeping up with the daily tasks that come our way.
