Ultrtech Cement Co Ltd

Our setup is located in the Amreli district of Gujarat, specifically in the village of Kovaya within the Rajula taluka. We are part of the Ultratech Cement Co Ltd family, and we work out of the GCW Colony. My office is actually at Quarter Number D/63. Since this is a company colony, most of our neighbors also work for the cement plant. It’s a unique way to live and work because you’re never really away from the job. We handle a lot of the administrative and local logistics for the cement company from this location. Kovaya is a small place, and the plant is the heart of everything around here. It can get very dusty and hot, especially in the summer months, but that is just part of the life in a cement town. We don't have a big corporate building with glass windows. It is just a regular house in the colony where we keep the files and manage the daily tasks. We don't do much in the way of advertising because the plant is already well-known in the region. Most of our day is spent talking to workers or checking on the transport schedules. It is a quiet community but a very busy industrial operation. We take pride in the fact that the cement from our village goes all over the state. We’re just a small part of a much bigger machine, working steadily out here in the Rajula area.
