Uber Stitch

Uber Stitch is located at C-442 in the Sobo Center. This is in South Bopal, on the Gala Gymkhana Road. It’s a pretty active area these days. Our shop isn't very large, so every inch of space is used for sewing machines or fabric storage. We have rolls of cloth and different colored threads everywhere you look. Sometimes it feels a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. We do mostly tailoring and stitching work. People bring in their own fabric and we try to make what they want. It’s a slow process because we do everything carefully. We have a few tailors who have been sewing for a long time. They are very focused on their work and don't talk much while they’re at the machines. The noise of the sewing can be quite loud when all of them are running at once. We don't have a fancy waiting room, just a couple of stools if you need to sit. The floor usually has some thread and fabric scraps on it by the afternoon. We try to keep up with the orders, but sometimes we get backed up during wedding season. It’s a local business and we know a lot of the people in South Bopal. We just want to do a decent job with the clothes people trust us with. It’s hard work, but we enjoy the daily routine of the shop.
