Our office is located on the ground floor of New York Tower-A. It’s right on S. G. Road in Thaltej. It’s a pretty well-known building in this part of Ahmedabad. Tyco Fire & Security India Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from Plot No G-1/B-C for a while. Even though we have a big name, the local team here is just regular people. We spend our days looking at fire safety plans and security layouts. The traffic on S. G. Road is almost always heavy, so we hear the horns all day long. The office is functional and gets the job done. We have a lot of charts and equipment samples lying around the desks. It’s not the quietest place in the world, but we like the energy of the area. We aren't here to give you a big corporate presentation with slides and music. We’d rather just sit down and talk about what’s actually needed for a building. Fire safety is serious, so we try to be as practical as possible with our suggestions. We’ve seen all sorts of buildings, from small shops to big residential complexes. Every place has its own quirks and problems. We just focus on the hardware and making sure the sensors are where they should be. It’s a steady kind of work and we’ve gotten pretty good at navigating the local regulations and rules over the years. We stay busy and keep things moving without any fuss.
