Trf Ltd (A Tata Enterprise)

You can find our Trf Ltd office over at D/166 in the Khutadi part of Sonari. It’s right there in A-Block, a familiar spot for anyone living in Jamshedpur. Being a Tata Enterprise, we are part of a long history in Jharkhand, but our day-to-day life is pretty simple. The office is located in a residential-style area, so it’s a bit more relaxed than being inside the main plant walls. We mostly deal with the logistics and the administrative side of things here. There are a few trees outside that give some shade, which is a blessing in the afternoons. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of keyboards and the occasional phone ringing. We aren't a huge team at this specific location, so everyone ends up wearing a few different hats. One day you might be filing reports, and the next you're helping out with a shipment question. It keeps things from getting too boring, I suppose. We aren't trying to impress anyone with fancy decor; we just have what we need to work. Most of us walk or take a quick ride to get here every morning. It feels like a neighborhood workplace where you can actually get to know your coworkers. We just keep things moving and make sure the paperwork is in order before we head home for the evening. It is just basic, honest work.
