Running Pavitra Devlopers keeps us pretty busy, especially being located out here on the stretch from Masarovar to the Ring Road. It’s a fast-moving area. We spend most of our time out on the sites rather than sitting in the office. The road can be noisy with all the trucks passing by to get to the Ring Road, but you get used to it after a week or two. We handle the basic day-to-day tasks of building things. That means a lot of phone calls to laborers and checking on how much sand we have left in the pile. It isn’t always smooth. Last Tuesday, one of the machines broke down, and we spent half the afternoon trying to find a part. That’s just how it goes in this business. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us making sure the walls are straight and the roofs don't leak. The sun gets really hot around midday, so we usually take a break then. We’ve seen this whole area change so much over the last few years. New shops and houses are popping up everywhere between Masarovar and the main road. We’re just one part of that, trying to get our work finished so we can move on to the next one. It’s honest work, even if our boots are always covered in mud and the office floor is never truly clean.
