Mahalaxmi Plywood

Mahalaxmi Plywood is located at No. 28/A/1 in the S. P. Muni Timber Market. We are right in Lati Bazar, tucked behind the Gita Mandir in Zone No. 3. If you come by, you’ll immediately notice the smell of cut wood and the sound of trucks being loaded. This market is a busy place, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. Our shop is filled with stacks of plywood and timber from floor to ceiling. It’s a bit dusty, but that’s just how it is in a timber market. We don't have a fancy office. We have a small desk where we keep our books and a couple of chairs for when someone stops by to talk. We start our day early, usually when the first trucks arrive at Lati Bazar. It takes a lot of effort to move the heavy sheets around, so we stay pretty active. We know the other shop owners around here well. It’s a community of people who have been doing this for generations. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just sell plywood and help people find what they need for their building projects. The area behind Gita Mandir is always full of life. It’s a gritty, real place to work, and we wouldn't want to be anywhere else. We close up when the market starts to quiet down in the evening.
