You’ll find us over at Nirali Flats in Vejalpur, which is part of the Satellite area in Ahmedabad. It’s an older residential block, so it doesn’t look like much from the outside. Our space is H.No. B-9. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of samples or equipment coming in, but we make it work. The neighborhood is actually quite busy because of all the shops and apartments nearby. Sometimes finding a parking spot for a scooter is a real headache, especially in the evenings when everyone is coming home. Inside, the walls are painted a standard off-white and we’ve got shelves filled with manuals and tools for the water systems we look after. Ahmedabad gets incredibly hot, so the AC in the main room is usually working overtime. We’re often out at customer sites, so the office is sometimes quiet with only one or two people handling the phones. We have a small table in the corner for lunch breaks. It’s an honest setup, nothing flashy or expensive. Most of our neighbors are families, so we try to keep the noise down when we’re moving things in or out. It’s just how we do things here—managing the day-to-day business of Thermax Wws without any fuss. The local tea stall around the corner is where we usually end up talking about the day's work. It’s a practical location for reaching different parts of the city quickly and easily without getting stuck too long in traffic. We just keep our heads down and get the tasks done.
