Our place, Peliswan Impex, is located at B-7 Mango Garden in Thaltej. We are right across the street from the Avalon Hotel. It’s a bit of a landmark, so it makes finding us easier for people who aren't from this side of town. The area is called Mango Garden, which sounds a lot more peaceful than it actually is during the rush hour. We have a small office where we handle all the import and export details. There are always boxes stacked somewhere, and the printer usually chooses the worst time to run out of ink. We’ve been here for a bit, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. The hotel across the way always has cars coming and going, which gives us something to look at when we take a break. We aren't a big operation with hundreds of people. It’s a small team, and we all wear different hats. One minute you’re checking a shipping manifest, and the next you’re trying to fix the light bulb in the hallway. It’s practical work. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the wall. We just focus on getting the goods from point A to point B without too many headaches. Most days are just about staying on top of the emails and making sure the paperwork is filed before the afternoon deadline.
