Texo Cams (India)

Texo Cams (India) is located at 927/51, inside the B.A. Panchal & Co building. We are situated right opposite Parvati Estate and near the Punjab National Bank in the Tavdipura area of Shahibaug. It’s an industrial part of town, which is good for us because we make cams and other mechanical parts. The workshop is usually quite loud and it smells like machine oil and metal. We don't have a fancy office for visitors. Most people who come to see us are used to the noise and the mess that comes with a real manufacturing shop. We have some very old machines that we’ve been using for decades. They are reliable and we know how to fix them ourselves when they break down. We aren't a high-tech firm with robots. We do a lot of the work by hand and with manual machines. It’s a small team of us and we’ve all been here for a long time. We know each other’s families and we often share lunch together in the back. Shahibaug can get very hot, but we just keep the fans going and get on with the job. We don't have any big corporate goals or mission statements. We just want to make good parts that work like they are supposed to. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living at Texo Cams (India).
