Our location is a bit out of the way, situated right behind the vegetable market farm in Dhandhuka. It’s a long drive from the main city of Ahmedabad, but this is where our current project work has landed us. The road getting out here can be quite rough, especially when it rains, but we make it work. Technically, we are tied to the Hyderabad branch, but our daily life is spent right here in this district. The office is very basic, just a few desks and some old filing cabinets to hold our records. We are mostly outdoors anyway, keeping an eye on the site progress and making sure the local crews have what they need. It’s a lot quieter out here than in the big cities, which we actually appreciate. You won't find any high-end coffee machines or modern decor in our space; we just use what we have available. Most of the staff lives close by or stays in local housing since the commute is so long. We focus on getting the actual physical work finished, which means our boots are usually covered in mud. It is practical work for people who don't mind the sun and the dust. We don't spend any time on marketing or trying to look like a big corporation. We just want to finish the job well so we can move on to the next one. It's a simple life out here in the district.
