Tata Nano Project

You can find us in Ahmedabad at Shahpur Adda. We are located in the Bhuri Noor Jhahn Building, right on the 3rd floor at 2534/1. Ahmedabad is always hot, and the building doesn't always have the best airflow, so we keep the windows open. The street below is constantly moving with rikshaws and people heading to the market. Being on the third floor means a bit of a climb, but you get used to it after a while. This office was a big part of the Tata Nano project back in the day. It’s not a modern corporate hub. It’s more of a place where we’ve worked for years, with desks that have seen a lot of use. There are stacks of old blueprints and project files everywhere you look. We mostly focus on our tasks and try to stay cool during the summer months. The neighbors in the building are all local business people, so it feels like a community. We don’t have fancy lighting or expensive furniture. It’s just a plain space with a lot of history. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It’s a very grounded way to work. People often miss the entrance because the sign is small, but once you’re inside, it’s just us doing our thing. It’s a practical setup for a project that was all about being practical.
