Our office is situated at 15/36 Lenin Sarani, right on the G.T. Road (West) side in Serampur. If you know Hooghly, you know how hectic the roads can get around here. We’ve been operating from this spot for a good stretch of time. It’s a busy area and there is always something happening right outside our windows. The building itself is just a regular place where we spend our hours dealing with whatever comes across our desks for Tata Motors Ltd. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. It’s a lot of local coordination and making sure the day-to-day stuff gets handled properly. Sometimes the noise from the traffic on G.T. Road is a bit much, but you get used to it after a week or two. We don’t have a massive lobby or any of those corporate bells and whistles. It’s just us, some chairs, and our work. People from the neighborhood pass by all day long. We like being in this part of Serampur because it feels real. There is a certain rhythm to the way things work in this part of West Bengal. We just show up, do what needs doing, and head home like everyone else. It’s not a complicated setup. We have what we need to keep things ticking over.
