Tata Motors Ltd

Out in Sarkar Para, which is part of Halisahar, we have this branch of Tata Motors Ltd. It’s located in the 24 Parganas(N) district of West Bengal. The air here is a bit different than the big city. We get the humidity and the rains like everywhere else in the state. The building is simple. We don't use much fancy stuff. Just desks, chairs, and the work at hand. People from the local village areas often pass by. We’ve been part of the landscape for a while. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out or find something else to do. It’s a very grounded way of working. No one wears suits here unless they have to. Mostly it’s just shirts and trousers. We know the neighbors. The shop down the road knows us. It feels like being part of a small town even though we're a big name. The address is easy enough for the postman. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. We just handle the business that comes through the door. It gets quiet in the evenings once the sun starts to set over West Bengal. That’s when we usually wrap things up. It’s a honest place to spend a workday. We don’t make a fuss about things. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
