Operating out of Plot No. 1714-1715 in Phase III of the G.I.D.C. Estate in Vatva is where you’ll find Tas Foundries Pvt.Ltd. Being in a G.I.D.C. estate means we are surrounded by other factories and plants, so there’s a constant hum of industry in the air. Our plots are quite large because foundry work needs the space for the furnaces and the molds. It’s a tough environment, honestly. It’s hot, dusty, and loud, but that’s the nature of the work we do. We aren't wearing suits here; we’re in work clothes that get dirty pretty much the minute we start the shift. The gates at 1714-1715 stay open most of the day to let the trucks in and out. Managing a foundry involves a lot of heavy lifting and paying attention to the heat. We’ve been in Vatva for quite a while now, and we’ve seen the estate grow and change. We don't have a polished front office with air conditioning that works perfectly all the time. Instead, we have a functional space where the real work happens on the floor. Most of our conversations are shouted over the noise of the machines. We just focus on getting the pours right and making sure the castings come out the way they are supposed to. It’s physical, honest work, and we don't try to dress it up as anything else. We are just a local foundry team.
