We are set up in Krishna Dham Society, right along the Airport Road in Hansol. It’s number 35. If you are heading towards Indira Bridge, you can’t really miss the turn. It’s a decent spot in Ahmedabad, though the traffic near the bridge can be a real headache some afternoons. Being near the airport means we hear the planes coming in pretty low, which you get used to after a week or so. It’s more of a residential-looking area, so it’s quieter than the main city center. We spend most of the day on the phones or looking at screens. There’s a lot of coordination involved in what we do. The office is pretty simple. We’ve got a few desks, some filing cabinets that have seen better days, and a lot of maps on the wall. It’s not the most stylish place, but it works for us. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the logistics of moving things from one place to another. Hansol is a nice part of town, feels a bit more open. Sometimes we step outside just to get a break from the AC. It’s just a small group of us making sure everything stays on track. We’ve been at this address, 35 Krishna Dham Society, for a while now. Most of the neighbors know who we are. It’s just a regular workday, every day, trying to keep up with the schedules.
