Swan Machine Tools Pvt. Ltd. is located in Menit House, over in the Kadia Kui area off Relief Road. If you’ve ever been to Relief Road, you know it’s one of the busiest spots in the city. It’s loud and there’s always something happening right outside. Our shop is where we keep the tools and machinery. We’ve been here for a long time. The building, Menit House, has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and it fits our needs. We deal with machine tools. It’s a dusty business, honestly. Your hands get dirty and there’s always a bit of oil on the floor. We aren't a high-tech corporate office. We have heavy stuff that needs moving and customers who know exactly what kind of part they need. Most of our guys have been working with machines since they were young. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just sell tools and equipment. If a customer comes in looking for a specific wrench or a lathe part, we go back into the stores and find it. Sometimes it takes a minute to dig through everything. Relief Road can be a headache to get through, but our regulars don't seem to mind the traffic. They know where we are. We close up when the sun goes down, or a bit after if we're busy. It’s a simple life, and we like the people we meet here.
