Our setup is at unit 65 in the Shrinathji Industrial Estate. It’s located on Panna Estate Road, right near the highway in the Rakhial part of Ahmedabad. Being in an industrial estate means things are always moving. There’s a lot of noise from the nearby units and trucks are constantly rolling down the road. We handle international trade, so there is always a stack of paperwork on the desks and something to be coordinated with the docks or the transport companies. It’s a functional space, nothing too pretty to look at, but it gets the job done. We’ve been in this spot for a bit, and we’ve grown used to the rhythm of the industrial area. The heat can get a bit much in the summer, but we keep the fans going and stay busy. We don’t really go in for the polished corporate image. We’re just regular people working in exports and imports. Most of our day is spent making sure the numbers match up and the goods are where they need to be. It’s a lot of coordination and simple hard work. If you walk into our place, you’ll see people on their phones or checking manifests. It’s a straightforward operation. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay ahead of the deadlines while managing the daily logistical hurdles that pop up in the trade business.
