Our place is located at Meldi Estate, right near the Gota railway crossing. If you know the area, you know it's mostly industrial sheds and small workshops. We are in B/8/2. It’s an old estate, so the roads can be a bit bumpy especially after the rains. We spend our days inside the unit working on various surgical instruments. It’s noisy sometimes because of the machinery nearby and the trains passing by the crossing every now and then. We have a few technicians who have been with us for a long time. They know their way around the tools better than anyone. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you walk in, you'll probably just see someone in overalls or a plain shirt working at a bench. We keep the inventory in the back. It’s a practical space, not meant for showing off. We focus on making sure the items are packed correctly before they leave. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to go out. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do. We’ve been in Gota for a while and have seen the whole place grow up around us. We just keep doing our bit every day without making a fuss or worrying about fancy labels.
