Surashreshtha Electronics

We’ve been based out of Shreeram Industrial Estate for a good while now. It is unit 13-14, just tucked behind CMC near the Soni’S Chawl cross road. Odhav gets pretty busy during the day, so there is always a lot of noise and movement around the shop. We deal with electronics, mostly the day-to-day stuff people need for their setups. It’s not a fancy place, just a workspace where we keep things organized enough to find what a customer is looking for. Most of the guys here have been working together for years. We spend a lot of time testing parts and making sure things work like they should. Sometimes the traffic on the cross road makes it hard for deliveries to get through on time, but we manage. If you’re coming from the main part of town, you just look for the landmark and turn in. The workspace is usually cluttered with tools and wires because there is always something being looked at. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. It's just us in the back handling the orders and checking the inventory. People around the estate know us as the place that’s been here since the old buildings were the only thing around. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the fans going full blast while we sort through the latest shipment of boards. It’s steady work and we like being part of the local community. We drink a lot of tea while we troubleshoot the more difficult repairs that come in.
