You can find us on the first floor of the Barcelona Estate, which is right by the Odhav Cross Road. It’s unit number 65. Being so close to the S P Ring Road means there is a constant drone of trucks and cars passing by at all hours. It’s a busy part of Odhav, and the estate itself is packed with other businesses doing all sorts of things. Our space is filled with rolls of tape and the big machines we use to cut and package them. It gets a little sticky in here sometimes, and the smell of adhesive is something you just get used to after the first few days. We don’t have a big lobby or a waiting room for visitors. If you come by, you’ll probably walk straight into the production area where the noise is. We spend a lot of time navigating the stairs since we’re on the first floor, which can be a bit of a workout when we have smaller boxes to carry down by hand. For the bigger stuff, we have to coordinate with the lift. The Odhav area is pretty industrial and dusty, so we’re always wiping down the desks and the equipment. It’s a simple operation at Super Tapes. We just focus on getting the rolls measured and packed for the next day’s deliveries. It’s a lot of standing on your feet, but that’s just how the work goes for us here.
