Star Kids & Ladies Wear

You can find us at Star Kids & Ladies Wear right in Shop No. 3 of the Dipak Bhavna Society. We are located on India Colony Road in Bapunagar. It’s a lively neighborhood and there are always people walking by on the sidewalk. Our shop is small but we pack a lot into it. We spend our days hanging up clothes and talking to the neighbors who stop in to see what's new. It’s not a high-end boutique or anything like that. It’s just a local shop where we try to keep things tidy. We have been here for a good amount of time now, and we’ve seen the area change a bit. The street outside can get pretty noisy with the traffic on India Colony Road, especially in the evenings. We usually have the radio playing or just talk amongst ourselves while we work. It’s a very normal day-to-day life for us. We don't use any fancy computer systems to track everything; we mostly just know what we have on the shelves. Sometimes we have to rearrange the whole shop to make room for new stuff coming in. It’s a bit of a squeeze but we make it work. Most of our customers are folks from the local society or people just passing through Bapunagar on their way home. We just like being part of the local community and doing our thing in our own little corner. It gets dusty from the road, so we sweep a lot.
