Being near a school means the mornings and afternoons are very loud with all the kids and buses, but the rest of the day is fairly calm. Our office is inside one of the bungalows and it feels more like a home than a workplace. We have been in the Memnagar area for some time now and most of our neighbors know what we do. Construction takes a lot of coordination and we spend our hours talking to contractors and checking on the supplies. We don't use a lot of big words or try to act like we are some huge international firm. We are just local people in Ahmedabad trying to get the job done right. The office is filled with rolls of plans and old files from past projects we have finished. Sometimes we go out for a quick lunch at one of the stalls nearby before heading back to look at more numbers. It is a lot of back-and-forth between the office and the building sites. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you knock on the door, one of us will just come and open it. It is an informal way of doing things but it works for us and our clients seem to like the personal touch we have. It keeps the business feeling real and honest for everyone involved.
