Spandan Dental Clinic

Our dental clinic is on the ground floor of Samrath Complex, right on the 132 Ft Ring Road in Wadaj. We are quite near the National Handloom Corporation, which is a place almost everyone in this part of Ahmedabad knows. Being on the Ring Road means it’s very easy to find us, but the parking can be a bit of a nightmare sometimes. There’s a lot of dust because of all the cars and trucks going past. Inside, we have the dental chair and all the usual tools. The compressor for the drill makes a loud humming noise that we’ve all grown used to. I’ve been working in Wadaj for a long time. The clinic isn't very large, so if there are more than four people waiting, it feels crowded. We have a small sink that drips occasionally, which can be annoying when it’s quiet. We see a lot of people for basic stuff like fillings or cleaning. Most of the time, people come in because they have a toothache they can't ignore anymore. We don't have a big fancy waiting room with a television. Usually, there's just some old newspapers or a religious calendar on the wall to look at. It’s a straightforward place. We open up at ten in the morning and usually stay until the last patient is seen. It’s a lot of standing on our feet, but that's just the nature of the job.
