If you head down towards Narol and look behind the Good Luck Hotel, you’ll find us at Patel Estate. We’re right near the old Chandola octroi naka. It’s a dusty part of town because of all the trucks moving in and out all day and night. Our office is pretty basic. We’ve got some chairs, a couple of desks, and a lot of calendars on the walls. Trucking is a tough business and it’s rarely clean or quiet. There’s always the smell of diesel in the air and the sound of horns. We spend a lot of our time on the phone with drivers who are stuck in traffic or waiting at a loading dock somewhere across the country. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit. Most of us are in old shirts and we drink a lot of coffee to stay sharp. The estate gets pretty crowded with vehicles, so parking is always a bit of a headache. We’ve been operating out of this spot for quite a while now. We know the local tea stall guys and the mechanics nearby. It’s a community of people who just want to keep the wheels turning. We don’t have a fancy website or a big sales team. We just take the orders, find the trucks, and make sure the goods get where they’re supposed to go. It’s simple, manual work that keeps us busy from morning till late every single day.
