Soho Hotels

You can find us at B-406 in the Suryavanshi Tower. We are right near Renuka Hall in the Vastrapur area of Ahmedabad. Running Soho Hotels from here is interesting because the neighborhood is always on the move. We spend our mornings checking on rooms and making sure the staff has what they need for the day. It is not a flashy operation. We just focus on the basics like clean sheets and making sure the lights work. Being in a tower means we have a lot of neighbors, and things can get a bit noisy, but that is just city life in India. We deal with guests from all over, some staying for a night and others for a week. Sometimes the elevator is slow or a pipe leaks, and we have to jump on it right away. We don't have a big marketing department. Mostly, it is just us answering the phone and writing down bookings in a ledger. Vastrapur is a good spot to be, with plenty of people walking around and shops nearby. We keep things simple and try to be helpful when someone asks for directions or a good place to eat. It is a lot of work keeping up with the cleaning and the maintenance, but we have a decent routine now. We are just regular folks running a place to stay in a busy part of town and keeping the doors open.
