We are located right behind the Gorbandh Restaurant, which is directly across from the Vaishnodevi Temple. It’s a very busy spot, especially on the weekends when the temple gets crowded with visitors. Soham Realty has been operating from this location for some time now. We aren’t fancy people by any means. We mostly wear comfortable shoes because we spend a lot of time on our feet. Dealing with property isn’t just about the selling part; it’s about knowing the ground and the people in the area. We spend a lot of time out and about, looking at different spots and checking on how things are progressing. It takes a lot of coordination. You have to talk to so many different people just to get one thing finished in this business. We don’t have a big corporate handbook to follow. We just use our common sense and try to be fair with everyone. Sometimes things take a lot longer than we want them to. Permits get delayed at the office or the weather turns bad suddenly. That’s just part of the life. We don’t try to sugarcoat things when that happens. If there is a problem, we just say it. Being near the temple gives us a good sense of place. It’s a landmark that helps people find us, even though our office is a bit hidden behind the restaurant. We just keep our heads down and keep working.
