We are situated in Silicon Valley, which sounds much more high-tech than it actually is. It’s B 120, right near the Shivranjani Cross Road in Satellite. The Bank of Baroda is the big landmark right next to us. It’s a very busy intersection, so there is always the sound of horns and engines outside. We’ve got a small team here. We spend our mornings setting up the equipment and making sure everything is where it should be. The office is a decent size, though the waiting area can feel a bit tight when more than three people are there at once. We don’t have any of those corporate mission statements on the walls. It’s just a place where we fix teeth. We have some plants in the corner, but they struggle a bit because we forget to water them sometimes. The floor is that standard grey tile you see everywhere. We like being in Satellite because everything is close by. If we need something, we just walk down the street. It’s a practical location. People come in from all over Ahmedabad because Shivranjani is so easy to get to. We try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s our work. We just do what we can, deal with the paperwork, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s just a regular dental office on a busy corner.
